More Beautiful

There was a scientific study I read about recently that measured mens' and womens' responses to photos and video clips of naked men and women.  Some of the photos showed men having sex with women.  Others had women having sex with women, men with men etc.  The majority of men AND women were more aroused when they viewed the photos of naked women vs. men.  I find that quite interesting.  I wonder how many women would admit to finding one of their own sex attractive?  I would have to say that women's bodies are more beautiful, but it can be fun to watch men having sex with men.

Ya porn! There is something about it, you are mesmerized, and can't stop watching. It seems like you have not seen anything like it but more than likely we have all done it! --I find myself checking out women more than men in most cases! hmmmmm -Miss T

I guess it depends on who the men and women are. I do think that women's bodies are prettier, in general.

I wonder if it's because women project themselves into the place of the woman on screen? Empathy and all that stuff we're supposed to be so good at.

But I agree; women's bodies are much more beautiful. Like landscapes.

Cheesy- I have noticed your beautiful blog ;)

T- It is mesmerizing isn't it?!

Meno- True. Some men are wonderful to behold.

Pants- Hmm...yes. Projection. I think we do place ourselves in the moment. Especially when the men are particularly good at what they do.

well, but let's also remember that women have been objectified over the millenia so that we are more easily viewed as "art objects" than men are.

Like, why is there so much female nudity in film, tv, advertising, and yet rarely, if ever, male nudity? Remember what a big deal Mel Gibson flashing his ass cheeks were in the first "Lethal Weapon"? Why?

I think the male form can be breathtaking -- it's just that we are presented with potbellied irony more than curved muscular beauty.

Men don't want to be "beautiful" -- do they?
